| Football or fĂștbol?
1. Soccer/futbol is on its way up not only in LA, but all across the country. MLS is an established brand within only 12 years of its existence. Within 20 years, soccer will be part of the top 4, if not the top 3 most popular(watched) sports in the US. .
Gay Christian group criticises new equality commissioner
A gay rights group has compiled a dossier criticising the record of one of the UK's newly appointed equality commissioners, Joel Edwards. The Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement (LGCM) said Edwards had a history of "agitating against the full inclusion of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community under equality law". The group was today printing a 10-page document on the appointment of Edwards, leader of the Evangelical Alliance, to the Equalities and Human Rights Commission (EHRC). .

Music sales fall despite digital growth
The only difference now is the presence of the internet which makes it easier. DRMA has proven to be more of a curse than a blessing to the industry. This as well makes people turn to downloads, so they can play songs on their Ipod, or mp3 player. If the companies want to curb (no eliminate) piracy, drop the prices! $25 for a CD is too much! HD DVD's and Blu Ray discs are outrageous. I looked at getting one the other day - $44 at HMV!!! No wonder people turn to the internet.
