A public relations news item entitled "Safe Ways to Get Back in Shape" attracted a great deal of media interest, according to Gary Cuneo of the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP). The news item was released in late January and was picked up across the country. Much of the interest was from community newspapers, says Laura Carabello, principal of CPR, the marketing communications firm handling public relations for F4CP. The news release generated 128 newspaper articles in 18 different states, with a readership of almost 3 million. Carabello said, "Based on clippings … this release has appeared in 12 of the top 50 markets, 19 of the top 100 markets, and 28 of the top 300 markets."
